MY STORY AND WHY I BUILT THIS

I'm Dr. Flora 

Physician.

Menopause Certified Practitioner.

Burnout Coach.

And a perimenopausal woman who understands what a capacity shift feels like.

You’d think a physician who survived IVF and front-line COVID care wouldn’t get taken down by perimenopause. 

Even though I thought I had it figured out, at 39, that’s exactly what happened to me.

Perimenopause showed up, and not alone...

It came with insomnia, rage, brain fog and a depression I didn’t see coming.

But what hit hardest wasn’t just the symptoms, it was the confusion. I was doing everything “right.” But nothing worked.

That’s when I realized: my body had changed, and I was still running a playbook that no longer applied.

So I went deeper. I studied the physiology of perimenopause and what was actually happening hormonally. And I started identifying the patterns that had kept me over-functioning for decades.

That combination changed everything.

Around the same time, I saw the same gap in patients: 
They were getting hormones without support…
or mindset tools without understanding their bodies.

But nothing works alone. Because burnout and hormonal shifts don’t happen in isolation—they compound each other.

That’s why I created REwritten. Where physiology, psychology, and hormones are addressed together, the way they actually exist in your body.
